The elegance and vulnerability that Fenn O’Meally's films and photography capture originate from her desire to connect human to human with the individual/s on the other side of the lens. There is a love for sharing the tender, raw and honest anecdotes of human life at the core of her work. Born in Birmingham and of Jamaican heritage, for Fenn the camera is a way to explore and study human stories, many of which observe her Caribbean roots. With a background of dance, the movement in her visuals see her lean on her early childhood love of movement and music. She has directed films for some of the world’s leading brands including; Nike, Burberry, Byredo, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior, and Prada among many others, and worked with some of the World's most exciting artists, including Jorja Smith, Letitia Write, Sampha and Spike Lee.
